Jeff Jones
Chief Executive Officer
After spending the early part of his career on the communications side, Jeff joined the company in 1988. As he learned the business from the ground up, Jeff was convinced in the future of our business model.
On the Board of Directors since 1996, Jeff has been critical to planning and executing corporate strategy for over 12 years. In 2001, he added the title of CEO to his resume and has led the company to unprecedented heights.
Outside of work, Jeff spends his time golfing, skiing, boating, and spending time with wife Kathryn and son Graham. He is a graduate of West Virginia University.
Steve Thompson
President & Chief Operating Officer
He has almost 30 years of broadcast, media, and agency experience. In 1982, Steve was named Sales Manager for Katz Television and became a Vice President in 1987.
Steve joined WFofR in early 1995 as an Account Executive and was quickly elevated to Account Supervisor. In 1998 he became V.P. of Client Services where he remained until being promoted to COO in 2003. He added the position of President in early 2008.
He enjoys biking, running and spending time with his wife Marti and sons Bobby and Eric. Steve is a graduate of Denison University.
Harry Moore
VP - Director of Account Services
Harry joined WFofR in 1999 after spending over 20 years in consumer packaged goods marketing. Now, he leads the client account services group and applies his marketing background in developing client media strategies, planning and execution.
He has a degree in Economics from Clemson and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He is married to Beth and his children are Sims, Frances and Wyatt.
Matt Smyers
President, WFofR Online
After law school and being admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1998 Matt saw opportunity in the Internet. Owning several businesses prior to joining WFofR, he finally came aboard in January of 2008. A self-admitted entrepreneur, Matt sees the opportunity in local online advertising.
His passion is golfing and spending time with his wife Beth and their two children, Ellie and Luke. He is a graduate of Juniata College and from the Widener University School of Law.
